I’m fairly sure that everybody’s goes through the same thing. You get to a point where you’re just don’t have the gumption to get up and go do a workout.
The questions everybody asks is how do you get started? What do I do to get motivated?…
There are three pieces to that puzzle.
#1 You got to find out the why! I mean, do want to live longer? Do you want to be able to say you did something? Do want a six pack?
#2 You got to find out how! What is your road map to getting to your why?
#3 You have to come up with a goal event! If you have a wedding to trim down for, a high school reunion or a goal race.
Of course there is the possibility that all your reading is Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah….
You’ve made it this far so keep reading.
Think about it what is the single thing that makes it happen. What is a single thing that has begun everything you’ve ever done. It’s a much easier question than one would think.
It’s called action. It’s taking that first step . You need to take one action step to get you moving forward.
Something that stops you from saying well tomorrow. Yeah, some day. Eh, I’ll get to it next week.Oh I have to go stop by the donuts shop I know it’s just as good as excuse as any other one.
For me I looked around my house and said what am I not doing now that I’m disappointed in. I looked over and saw that my bed wasn’t made (It could be anything). I realized that I hadn’t been making it for a while.
You have to find what it is for you. You have an unmade bed somewhere.
1st Action Step, I went over and made my bed and then I followed that up with throwing on some shorts and going out for a quick 30 minute walk.
It was just that simple. One thing led to another that led to another.
You need to take one step and then just maybe you’ll take another.
One step should be considered movement, and take another step it’s twice as much movement. If you can string enough of these little successes together your desired result is in reach.
